[ Restaurant – Café – Bar ]

Akram's restaurant offers Euro-Asian fusion cuisine with an Ayurvedic focus in a stylish, (family-)friendly ambience.

Enjoy a glass of good wine in the conservatory or the cozy lounge on the upper floor in the evening. The premises are also ideally suited for events of any kind.

A modern ventilation system ensures the complete exchange of room air within 20 minutes. This guarantees a pleasant indoor climate and reduces the risk of infection in pandemic times.

Allow us to surprise you and look forward to a very special culinary experience.

Your host

Mohammad Akram

"As your innkeeper, I would like to welcome you and briefly introduce myself: My Indian forefathers were all active as Ayurvedic physicians. After a four-year training as a chef, I learned the high culinary art of Mughlai cuisine (formerly reserved only for ruling families in the Mughal Empire) for another 2 years. I worked as a gourmet chef in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Islamabad, Karachi, Barcelona and Munich. For more than 10 years I have been living with my wife and child in Garmisch, where I run a café and a restaurant. During my kitchen management at Zugspitze, I also wrote a cookbook, which will be on display in the restaurant.
I look forward to your visit and wish bon appétit."
"Eating is a holistic experience ... Not only a feast for the eyes ... from the beginning to the end, everything has to be just right ... When guests leave, I want them to be happy."
