Today marks the launch of MyRadl, a regional bike-sharing system that connects Munich with 36 suburbs. Bikes can be rented around the clock at designated locations and returned in any of the participating municipalities.
Locations in Eching
The nearest rental stations for Boardinghaus guests are at the town hall and at Lake Hollern (Hollerner See), both just a few minutes' walk away.

There are a total of eight MyRadl locations in Eching, all equipped exclusively with e-bikes:
- Train station
- Town Hall
- Lake Hollern
- IKEA
- Hotel Olymp
- Günzenhausen: Bergstraße
- Dietersheim: Echinger Str. & Isarstraße
Tariffs & Subscriptions
The basic rate for an e-bike is €3 per 30 minutes, with a maximum charge of €18 per 24 hours. Public transport subscribers (e.g., Deutschland-Ticket, MVV Abo) are eligible for discounts during the first half hour under certain conditions.
MyRadl also offers affordable monthly and annual subscriptions for frequent riders.
Here’s How It Works
You can easily book a bike using the MVV, MVGO, or nextbike app. The bikes are available 24/7 at designated locations and can – or rather must – be returned at any MyRadl station.

Tip: Rent a Cargo Bike for Free
We’d also like to take this opportunity to remind you that all Eching residents can borrow a cargo bike for free. So if you’re a registered resident of Eching and need decorations or furniture, for example, you can easily book "Nora" via app.
