Boardinghouses in particular have now established themselves as one of the most popular types of accommodation. In Germany, Boardinghouses offer everything from spartan rooms with shared bathrooms and shared kitchens to fully furnished apartments. Since additional services such as cleaning or laundry service are offered in addition to accommodation, the latter are also referred to as Serviced Apartments.
