Location

Eching is conveniently located near Autobahn 9 and 92, allowing you to reach Freising, the airport or the outskirts of Munich in just about 15 minutes by car.

Most destinations in the region can also be reached quickly and comfortably by bike or public transport. For example Garching-Hochbrück, where you can change to U6 subway heading towards TUM Campus Garching or Munich city center. Eching also has its own suburban train connection, which links the municipality directly to Munich, Freising or the airport. You can reach the "S-Bahn" station in just a few minutes - on foot, by bike, or by bus that conveniently stops directly at Boardinghaus Eching.

What is a Boardinghaus?

Conceptually, a Boardinghaus (also Boardinghouse) falls somewhere between a hotel and long-term residential rentals. It is primarily designed for medium-term stays, mostly offering fully furnished apartments with kitchenettes. In addition, certain services are included in the price or optionally available. This is why the units are also referred to as serviced apartments.

Compared to a hotel, the level of service in a Boardinghaus is reduced. The focus lies on cost savings, privacy, and the possibility to provide for oneself. For this reason, the term "Zuhause auf Zeit" (temporary home) is often used in marketing. The guest becomes a resident. Note: In Germany, Boardinghouses are not related to boarding schools.
